MOST ECONOMICAL HEALTH INSURANCE FOR 3 MONTHS IN CANADA?
Dear Colleagues,
I would like to know more on the most economical health insurance company for landed immigrants to Canada for first three months in the province of Ontario.
I would like to apply to it online before even landing to Toronto,payment through credit card.
ANy suggestions?

Don't waste your money..
If your going to land here during the summer time then for sure you don't need it. Insurance companies just make money out of it. Trust me your not going to get any claims out of it.
I'm from the insurance industry and did not take it for my mom when she came here.
You end up spending (depending on age)$2-3 per day * 30 = 60-90 per month. For 90 days would be just waste of money

Question: Do you do insurance just to make cliams?

Health Insurance for first three months,which is the best choice?
Dear Colleagues,
i would like to know which is the most economical and best insurance compnay for HEALTH insurance which is IMPERATIVE for landed immigrants at least for the first three months after landing in Ontario?
Any sugestions,names advices?
Please note this is HEALTH insurance and not meant for filing claims,etc but for insuring self in case of a health clamity in Canada like visits to a hospital,medication,etc after landing!
I have heard of bluecross.ca.Is it reasonable?
Any other choices???Which can be applied online?

Interestingly, the consequences of one's decisions are clear in hindsight. If one did buy health insurance and did have an emergency health problem then one would feel that buying health insurance was a wise decision.
It's upto Caprico. Insurance buys peace of mind at the very least.
