Hi Folks:

"In the news today Citizenship and Immigration Minister has made a statement that they will start to give multi entries visa for 5 years for parents, grandparents to unite to their family" - Can anyone please explain it at convenience or provide me some threads. I am unable to find anything from my present location.

To say “they will start giving five year multiple entry visas” seems to be a misinterpretation of yesterday’s announcement.

All that was said in the accouncement was that the CIC would make it ‘easier for parents and grandparents to visit Canada while their immigration applications were in process’ (these visit visa applications were often denied in the past).
