Hi,
My parents have multiple entry visa for US and Canada both. Currently, they are in Canada and I wish to extend their stay beyond six months, without going thorugh the extension procedure as they have a multi entry visa for US and Canada.
If my parents are staying in canada for 6 months, then instead of going back to India, they go to US so that technically they are out of Canada. For how many days do they have to stay in US so that again they can re-enter Canada and stay here for another 6 months?
Thanks,
incan
No, they can do this. They have to go to some other country to make another landing back in canada. Unfortunately, not many countries allow visa free entry for Indian citizens. Visit to US is not considered as you have left canada. Please check with CIC website for futher info & confirmation.
