Hello..
I am a Canadain Citizen. My parents resides in Pakistan by themselves, they have 2 years multiple entry visa for canada from may 06 to may 08.
I have invited my parents last years on a visit they stayed for 4 months and went back to Pakistan.
Last year in Nov 2006 I have applied for there Immigration to Canada.
They are comming back to visit me in May 07 and wish to stay for a year, because they are very lonely there but in good health, for that I need to get some sort of permission from Canadian immigration to extand there visit for 6 months to a year
or ask my parents to get a visa for maxico or berbedos, so before six months they can leave that country and come back to canada instead of going to Pakistan that will save me some money. VISA for USA can take 3-6 months and no guarntee that they will be able to get it.
Now after may 08 I need to re-apply for another visit visa for them so they can come and visit me till they got there immigration.
1. The question is will it effect there immigration process if they stay here with the permission of Canadain Immigration in 2007.
2. Will there be a difficulty for my parents in getting the visit visa because they have already applied for Canadian Immgration or it will not effect the visit visa process.
3. How long does it take now a days to get the parents immigration completed.
If you can advise me what to do from here that will be a great help.
