I have found it to be as objective as possible.
e.g: during the Kargil affair(i think)...the indian newspapers kept reporting that Indian embassy staff was beaten up by the Pakistanis. Dawn on the other hand mentioneed that both India and Pakistan were reporting beatings of their respective embassy staff by the other countries agents.
Ofcourse, it does understandably have a pro Pakistan tilt.

I've been a regular reader of The Dawn since last three years. I've even exchanged emails from the editor of the news paper and have always found it to be neutral when it comes to India-Pakistan relations. Though it doesn't have a decent web presence, it is a good source of news.
we definetely don't want to drag our neighbours into this discussion.

I think the original post intended to discuss the serious implications, pros and cons of the Real ID act.
but it seems we are now heading for a discussion of Indian / Pakinstan news media stuff.
Request all concerned to post their views on the subject line, instead of views on the country specific media and needlessly diverting others oout of the main topic.
Hope I am not rude but try to understand the point here.
