Nearly 10 days after the Uri attack that claimed 18 jawans, India carried out surgical strikes in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir, inflicting heavy casualties on terrorists and 'those protecting them" and indicating a change of stand on the rules of engagement on the disputed line of control.
Indian DGMO Lt Gen Ranbir Singh announced that Pakistan had been informed about the strikes and that India has no intention of continuing the operations but is ready for any reaction from the Pak side.
Very good step by the Central Government and Mr. Modi....

Stock market was hammered by the strike.
Pakistan as usual is denying that such an attack ever took place and that it was only Indian firing from their positions in India. Pakisthan is accepting the death of 2 soldiers who were killed by Indian firing.
Some State union minister said that India attacked only POK positions and hence it was not crossing into Pakisthan. They have said that Indian operations have ended and it will not carry out operations again, but has said that it (India) is fully prepared to withstand any attacks from/by Pakisthan.
Coming days only can tell us what will happen !

Every Country has their own versions. Pakistan also claimed to have killed as many as 14 soldiers with 1 taken into their custody. There is no news of which in Indian media and if at all it's true or not. Nobody will know about anything. It's good that India attacked, but it's a sort of wishy washy with each party tooting their own horn. I don't trust Pakistan at all, but would have loved for Indian Media to substantially look into their claims as such and as well (14 Indian soldiers killed and 1 in custody). Everybody is left to draw their own conclusions.

Something bizarre is going on!
Why is Russia (a staunch military/strategic ally of India) conducting mock drills in Pakistan along with Pak forces? According to some news outlets, these drills are being conducted in anticipation of WW-3 scenario.
Does it mean that there is some kind of re-alignment going on in international partnerships? Why is Russia de-hyphenating India-Pak from its strategic vocabulary now? It has to be beyond economic considerations.
I hope India does not become anymore a military-pawn of the globalists than it already is in economic sphere. There are signs that India is reaching out to China to counter US moves to use India as pawn against China in its pivot-to-Asia strategy.
Interesting times ahead.

Yes agree, this PAAP party wale "bina gaand ke lote" hai . They talk from both sides , one from their mouth and another from their ass hole hence u wont be able catch them.
