How one can know about citizenship result ? after exam or they will inform you by letter?

They tell you the result of your test right there when you hand it in.

Yes. The Citizenship test result will be given to you right after the exam ( you have to wait for sometime after the test ) . Then follows the letter of Oath asking you to attend the Oath ceremony.

a) the Oath letter?
b) the Oath itself?

Oath letter - generally a month before the oath
Oath Ceremony - Two to three months after the citixenship test


Citizenship test results - Generally not told except in few centres they are trying to merge citizenship test and oath on same day

In Montreal, We get Oath and Citizenship on the date of test itself.

My wife went for citizenship test on Sep/29 and she noticed that nobody was given any idea regarding the results of the test. All were infmd that the results shall be mailed (no timeline) ???????

I missed the test as I was in US for some urgent work. I guess I'll have to wait till they schedule a 2nd test or me. That may take another couple of months.
