I have received letter for test - test is on Sept 2, 2005
Before 15 days, I moved from toronto to mississauga. I will appear for test in Toronto, but then later should I do my address change or what should i do now??
Pls pls help

When I had applied for citizenship, I was living in hamilton and later i moved to toronto. I gave test in hamilton. At that time I spoke to the lady there, she said she will update the file but she was not sure how much time it will take to update so even for my oath, i had to go to hamilton to take it.
you can do address change on line too.

when did you file your application ?
We filed ours on Jul/11/2004, recd a cfmn letter in one and a half month, since then no news. We also did move from Toronto to Mississauga, changed add online immed. However when I called call centre ( 7 months after moving) to ask for status of appln last month, I was surprised to find that they still had our Toronto add. The CSR cfmd that there was a comp glitch and few others also had similar prob. She did update the add and cfmd that there was no communication sent to my old add. And that I didn't miss any letter. Also cfmd that the background check was done and that the file shall be trf to local off soon. It's been another 90 days since then...and no news.
Although we hardly care abt the same, but fail to unsderstand the delay as two of my friends, who applied after me and also moved from TO to MI, are already Canadian Citizens now !!!!!
Any similar experiences ?

Yes, you are right. I applied sept 28, 2004. Acutally, I moved before one month but I did waited for my address change because I don't want any delays ( I am waiting to be citizen to go for extended travel ).
I think you should try to find out what's going on.

I did and all they had to say is wait !!!!!!!!!!!
