Hello Everybody. I applied for Citizenship in Oct 2003 from Windsor,ON. But then I had a "Change of Address". I moved to Brampton,ON. CIC sent my receipt to my old address. Now I have updated my address to them. What I would like to know is that:
1.Is change of address going to hamper my application process ? And how much?
2. For How much time does RCMP sit on the file?
2. What is the time it takes for the application to reach local office in Brampton(or is Toronto the only office?) ?
3. How much time it takes in Brampton to be called for Citizenship test and the Oath of Citizenship?

did you get your citizenship test. i applied
from brampton in themonth of Sep03 and finished my citizenship test last week and waiting for oath date.


Any Idean how long it takes to get oath date from brampton area

I have applied for the citizenship on first week of August from Brampton,
and I dont receive any test yet..I have noticed that lot of people who applied from Brampton area after me and they got citizenship test...Its almost 9th month started..
any comments !! what should I do?

No I haven't received any news from CIC as yet. Good for you Kalroche. I applied in Nov 03, so may be I will get an interview/test call some times in July or August-would ike to get it ASAP.

Hi. Guys. This is the update I have on the CIC website:
"
Your file was transferred on March 12, 2004 to the Mississauga office for the citizenship testing and taking of the citizenship oath. The Mississauga office will contact you to write the Citizenship test. "

Any idea guys, when I will be called for the test. It almost 2 months now. And I am in India for a long Visit. But I don't wanna miss the test at all.
