Cost is the main difference.. paralegal are not lawyers by degree so they charge less..
I think Paralegal study law for 2 years where as law is a full fledged bachelors degree
A paralegal probably knows the law better than any of us..

Hi ,
I have a court date for a traffic offense towards Oct end and I need some one to represent me and convey my absence with a reason of course .... I shall attend the next hearing personally .
Now this is in Kawartha Lakes region - which is like 40 mins from Scarborough -- what kind of a person can I hire for this and how much should be a reasonable compensation ... ??
In case any one can re commend some one , that will be appreciated .
