I'm travelling to India next week planning to take a new46" LCD TV also as additional luggage ,Any idea how much will it roughly cost to take TV.I'm going through ITHIHAD.Is there any sort of taxes in India (If i claim as used)?

TV wont work in India unless you buy a multi system TV .
Remember Indian system is Pal / Secam whereas NA is NTSC .
Another trouble is voltage . 110 - 220 & 50-60 Mhz .

These days the TV s are manufactured to work in 100 to 250 V ac.

I brought LCD TV from Dubai and it works here in canada.
