Hi fellows
please can u give me an idea about this area.(mississauga)
How is this neighbourhood regarding schools, shopping centers, halal grocery store, public transit, park etc.
It is near labloos(maybe I spell it wrong).
I'm thinking to rent an apartment here.
any suggestions,much appreciated.....
The area between roughly bordered by Burnhamthorpe, Erin Mills Parkway, Collegeway and Glen Erin (around Walmart) has a bus depot, lots of shopping (groceries and otherwise). I am not sure about a halal shop but the Walmart/Foodbasics and No frills in the area might carry halal products. There are a few apartment buildings in the neighbourhood.
It also has a community centre which is very convenient for activities for children/adults. I don't know about the schools in that area.
The loblaws is at Eglington Avenue and Glen Erin. Not so close to the Walmart.

Not too far there is an Indian grocer - Mr India - at Winston Churchill & 403. Also a halal meat shop next to it.
To your question, it is generally a good area with plenty of shopping options.
