Can you please tell me , how my case is different ! I had applied in Feb 2001 from New Delhi and submitted my new forms with the high commission in March 2004 .I have sent them a fax to know the status of my case but till date I haven't received a single reply from them .

1 - I APPLIED IN DEC 2000
2 - APPLIED FOR MY SPOUSE IN FEB 2003
2 - I WAS ASKED TO DO IELTS AND FILL THE NEW FORMS BY CIC IN DEC 2003
4 - I SUBMITTED MY RESULT (6.5 - GENERAL )AND THE NEW FORMS IN FEB 2004
5 - I GOT A REPLY IN APRIL 2004 ASKING ME TO WAIT FOR AN INTERVIEW

HOW LONG IT MAY TAKE FOR AN INTERVIEW CALL

I HAD DONE MY DIPLOMA IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING AND HAVE 13 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE, MY WIFE HAD DONE HER MASTERS IN APPLIED MICRO BIOLOGY (NOT WORKING), WE HAVE A KID - 2 YEARS OF AGE. ( I WISH TO KNOW THE % OF FILES SUCCESSFULLY CLEARED AFTER CONDUCTING INTERVIEW, SOME BODY SAYS THAT IT WILL BE REALLY TOUGH, IS IT TRUE ?)

Dear arul

My time frame is almost same as yours.

But my interview has been waived.

Don't worry, many of my friends attended interviews and they said that immigration interviews are very normal and casual.

Why CHC has not given date of the interview, it has been long time na, better send one reminder to CHC.

But, please keep in mind that before you go for interview, your wife should know complete history of yours. i.e., date of passing of grad, etc.,
