Hello Massood,
Applied on Spousal Category, Delhi chc strted processing from Sept 05, Interview in Jan, they retained our passport. so looks positive result.
since long waiting,, for status enquiry..
Contacted Delhi thru Mp. came toknow they r still doing background checks.
now that Medicals are going to expiry in July. question is r_
Delhi chc going to inform us to re-do medicals, or should we remind again Delhi chc about Medical expiry or wait from Delhi Chc to inform us further
( as i hv noticed many say, even Medical expirired Delhi does not bother to inform)
pls advise wht next step can be taken,
tks for ur reply in advance.
Lasa.
This is what i think you should do,
Since your medical is expiring in July so u still have more than a month.
I wud suggest to wait until june end and if u dont hear anything from Delhi CHC during that period then without wasting anytime straightway go n get ur medical done again and send it to Delhi CHC quoting your file number, this will save some unnecessary delay.
Also i wont suggest to remind Delhi CHC about medical expiry as it wont help u in any ways, they wont speedup the process.

tks Anand for ur reply,
if Medicals has tobe re done, don;t we need some kind of documents from Embassy to go to Doctor again, cannot just go and get it done right..
& where my hubby is located in India, the medical office he attended is not near either, he need to make appointment/travel plans & all..
You can approach the doctor with "Appendix-D Medical instructions" which is in the sponsorship forms, you can download it from the CIC site.
if doctor ask why u need again just tell him that ur previous one is expired and you need a new one.
I am sure they will do it cuz after all they are making money out of it.
FYI, I,ve personally done this.

IF u had done personally, wht all docs did u take. where u hv to pay ?
and if at all to be done.. can be done before expiry, in order save time- as it takes another 2 months to reach Delhi.. embassy to update.
Anand, can i ask u. was it urs spousal too & what was ur time line..
Did Delhi made u wait till ur MEdical Expired?
i know i hv too many questions.. tks again.

Masoodji,
it may differ from case to case but in my case i did informed CHC(3-4 weeks in advance) when my medical was about to expire but they did nothing and let it expired and later mailed me to get it done again.
