Hi All,

Would anybody tell me please, if it is worth submitting the PCC from all the previous countries I've lived in, except the one i am living in, with the application under the federal skilled category.

Thanks
VJ

I believe the requirement is that you need to submit PCC if you have lived in any country for more than 6 months (with a few exceptions).

It is not a matter of choice or "worth" - you either have to, or you don't.

Please check the application kit and instructions for the post you are applying from.

Hi Pratickm,

Thanks for the reply, what i meant was is it worth sending it togather with the application form, initially OR is it better to send it later with the PCC from the current country of residence. (because, i thought it wouldnt make sense to send the PCC from the current country of residence intially with the application form, when it takes 24 months to process the application).

Over to you..

Regards
VJ

It depends on the post you are applying from, and the country whose PCC you are talking about.

For example, when applying from the Buffalo post, CHC requires that you do not submit the US FBI clearance alongwith the application.
They will explicitly ask for it later.

This is because the FBI clearance is valid only for 6 months.

Usually, the post specific instructions and the application kit talks about these requirements.
Each post has different requirements and instructions.

First, determine where you should lodge your application by using the following link -
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/offices/apply-where.html

Next, download the post specific instructions set here -
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/applications/skilled-mission.html

This document should tell you the PCC requirements for your post.

Hope this helps.

Much Oblidged Pratickm for a such quick reply,

it was very helpful,

i'm applying from London Post, and i've learnt from the links provided by you that they require all the PCC to be sent with the application form initially.

Many Thanks.
