Bringing money to Canada (INR to CAD)

Recently I withdrew CAD at ATM in Canada from bank account in India with Visa electron debit card. I got exchange rate of Rs 39.95 for 1 CAD (total including bank and ATM charges).

What would be cheaper options to bring money to Canada from India being physically present in Canada?

bank to bank transfer. ask your bank in india to transfr the money to your account in canada.
