The new PM will have a new cabinet by January and Coderre will most likely be replaced as immigration minister. The new minister may well listen to those people who are in favour of increasing the passmark to 70 or 72. THIS IS NOT CONFIRMED INFORMATION BUT JUST MY HUNCH ...

Dear Mr. Massood,
Will that make any difference to cases already filed. I hope they donot once again change the laws retrospectively.

It may happen although I'm sure lawyers will have no problem reversing any retroactivity like last time.
