I am in the midst of sending out a newsletter for one of the companies I work for. From past experiences we have had problems of various kinds and would like to find some answers to stuff like,
1-The email gets classified as junk and does not get to the inbox of the intendend recipient becuase the security options did not allow for attachments of any kind whatsoever be it jpeg or pdf in some instances. [ What I would like is to have it in plain text and embed the pictures into the document itself somehow so it comes as part of the html format]
What are the pitfalls I should avoid so the email gets to a maximum audience.
2- what are the typical filters IT guys put on company servers so that unwanted mails dont get through. [I would like to avoid all those typical and general loopholes so the newsletter gets through to a maximum number of intended recipients]
3-There are several softwares available for mass mailings, Can somebody recommend a decent and very reliable software which can be used so that I can import all my email addresses and contact info directly from access and send it out.
4-For the mailing software I would like it to have the option of importing addresses from access directly and also thh option of shooting out emails at the pace I want. Also once I import all the addresses and contact for the email address, the email sent out should go out personlised so although I would have put a 1000 emails in it when the guy opens it he see his name company info, address, his title and all that and so it looks as if I sat down to write an email to him personally. I know its doable and a lot of spammers do it. I get emails like that all the time.
I am asking for suggestions from Anybody who knows how to do any or some of these things or how to better do it.
