hi.. all..i have just finished one and half year in canada..still my english is not at par.. started own tech support business. getting all my expenses working 35-40 hrs a week saame like job ..good thing about this is getting my client base bigger and bigger..spending lesser and lesser on maarketting now.. after 9 months in business!!!..My personal opinion is that.. if you provide quality service..you get very good business anywhere in the world

Hi Stardust,
When I came to Canada, I was working under a workpermit, the company which hired me went down within three months and I was left without a job and also an employer. With the help of a business man we started a consulting company and recruted more professionals from India. It is not a bad idea but you have to be really dedicated and also to mention the people you get should be up to the mark. I would not worry about the canadian experiance. Talk to your local HRDC to see what is the current situation for getting professionals from outside of Canada. If there are any limitations please look into it. Will follow up when I get time.

I have started my Own firm for IT consulting & started breaking barries,Started working for some companies as cosnultant.

My field is Technical Support,Systsem integration of Windows NT/2000/2003 ,ACtive Directory,LInux,LOtus NOtes,Exghange Server,Citrix ,Tarantella ,Computer Hardware, Server design and setup,Trobleshooting Etc,

Its nice to know that you are interested to setup an IT consulting firm, I am interested to know where do you live and in which place do you want to establish an IT consulting firm? I am working for a software house called " Alpha Technologies" as a marketing agent . I am also a web creator but mostly I am involved in marketing work.

Actually I am thinking of establishing an Out sourcing office in Canada especially in Toronto city from where I could outsource website projects to Pakistan.
