Hi All,
I have a quick question with regard to the tax credit for English Examinations? Can I get a education related tax credits for Test of Spoken English and TOEFL test?

As a International we can get a credit for that and in PR those who are on EI they also can get a credit about that but if you are not on the EI than I am not sure.
May be Chintanbhai Dave can tell you about that

Hi,
I don't think you can claim this because :
1) TOEFL will not give a reciept stating the it is claimable.
2) It is not for the purpose of gaining employment in a related field. Like if you are going to becoming a teacher of ESL then you can sure claim, otherwise not.
