Club,Spear, Gun doesn't matter. When a lion kills a deer it snaps it's neck. Abear crushes it's prey . A crocodile and python swallows first then latter crushes the prey in it's stomach latter for hours.

so nature is cruel.

Let paul macartheney and Bridget bardot solve other problems in the world like poverty, anarchy hunger famine etc.......

Python coils around the prey, strangles the prey and then swallows...

Just a technical correction...;)

That's the way lion, bear, crocodileand python have their lunch and dinner. If they don't go that way, they won't have their food. That's the way they survive. It's important for their survival.

When it comes to "Nature", all problems are interrelated. Why you think there is poverty ? Why you think there is famine ? Dig deep into it, the source is almost the same - you break something that belongs to Mother Nature and you most prob'ly get this in return.

It is a food chain.Insects are eaten by small animals. Small animals get eaten by medium animals , medium animals by big animals in turn big animals get eaten by humans. so no big deal. big animal dies small insects eat it and the cycle completes.

If we did not eat animals half the world would die of starvation.

That is the question for which I never have an answer, if someone asks me why I am a vegetarian.

If you do not eat plants and vegetables, what do you eat to survive? We have to draw a line somewhere.

Most of meateaters eat mammals or sea creatures which have completely developed systems. While plants have fully developed cell structure, but devoid of systems such as neural/circulatory (Perhaps a botanist/zoologist can explain in more detail).

So vegetarians eat a form of life, that is less developed structurally. Do plants feel pain when we pick them? Do they bleed? Do they have a soul? I do not know.

Also, the seal hunt proesters protest against the way seals are clubbed. As a human being with fully developed sense of morality and responsibility, we should behave differently than other animals.

So it will be always be a matter of debate, whether humans are allowed to kill other animals for their food or not.
