What are positive and negative of a house if front lawn has Hydrant on it.
One positive that I can think - No one can park in front of your house
The decision to buy or not to buy a house with hydrant in the front-yard is personal. While most buyers don't shrug at its presence, some discerning buyers are very specificly against having one there.
You are right that no one can park their car/vehicle there. On the other hand, think about your guests too (specially when you will invite them over for house warming...ha ha).
