I've given citizenship test (at Ottawa) on 9th Sept 2008 and still I have not received letter for the oath.

I am always getting buys tone OR temporary out of service message on 1-888-242-2100.

Anyone in same boat?

It might take upto six months before you hear from them ( at least in Toronto ) . I would say just relax . It will take its own sweet time ..

I just inquire on toll free number and got same answer as you replied. They can investigate the case only if I'll not receive letter within 6 month from the test.

Actually, I have plan to visit India in December after getting citizenship.

How long does it take to get Canadian passport after that?

How long does it take to get the Indian OCI ?

Can any of this be expedited and is there an extra cost?

If your forms are ready and presigned , u can get the PP within 10 days ,provided u have a proof of travel.

30 -120 days

as I remember, you had written some wrong dates in your application as you posted here sometime ago & was concerned of its affect to your application.

Maybe this delay is because of that mistake you made while submitting your application. Not sure though if it was you or someone else !!!! If you wrote wrong dates of travel in your application & if its a MAJOR mistake contradicting the record at their end, then you might have to appear before a judge....

Irock u r correct ...but it was just wrong dates he mentioned ( not the wrong period ) ... I am ofcourse no authority but I guess that it should not adverse his application for citizenship . The major problem is hwen u r away for 6 weeks and you mention only 3 instead .
But yes the contradictory dates will delay the application further ..
