My minor daughter has been granted student visa for 3 years to do high school in Canada. I have been given a visitor's visa and on arrival at Canada, been granted permission to stay in Canada for 3 years as accompanying family member(mother) of my child.I have also successfully completed my medical test in India and this is also stamped in my passport.
I want to know whether I am entitled to apply for work permit like other accompanying family member of international students eg. spouse, children etc. who are permitted to do so?If so, how does one go about it?
Can someone guide me in this regard?
Hi Ruma,
As far as my knowledge and information goes I think you can apply for work permit. As a matter of fact I know a person whose wife is studying and he is working (ON A WORK PERMIT).
