PC financial is issuing a very good Master Card with 1% of money spent credited to be redeemed as groceries or other exiting stuff.
If you have a No Frills near your home, then you need this card.

. However, it is advisable to always pay the credit card payments in full and do not carry over the balance to next statement.

Kyoon always?

Apun ko Scotiabank card hai jis ka interest prime plus 1.75% hai aur CIBC bizline bhi hai similar rate pe. Both maxed out aur money used to invest.

Most gaya saal mein apun paying around the 6% and making the 30%. Also same same apla LOC's ke sath.

Haan apla score 700+ se 611 tak gaya kyoon all credit maxed for lengthy period of time, lakin better to make money than have good credit score.

Haan if you go to other bank for more credit , they will refuse like RBC doing to me, lakin apun going back to CIBC and Scotia and they increasing all limits by 40-60%. Gaya kkada mein RBC .

Plus apun having also investment loans- helping the pay apla mortgage down by 20% over and above apla initial 5% and now having the conventional mortgage. Lending officer at Scotia tolding that apun in top 5 % of Canadians where paying mortgage down to 75% (now 70%, maybe even) in less than the 2 years.

Chal anyway, maybe it is being the bad choice of words- always-lakin apun thinking maybe u r meaning as general rule of thumb. Maybe true, maybe the not. Apun ta telling everybody to max out and invest lakin logon ko kaleja nahin.
Some are having though and not regretting taking that the step. Plus kya interest uspe bhi can the write off so actually paying \\\"less the interest\\\" so to yaani speak.

Chal to each apla own

Hi Trans,

Not every body is as intelligent and investments savvy as it seems you are.

And as you yourself have pointed out, this information is for most of the CD members, lets say for 95% and you come in the other 5% as confirmed to you by your Scotia Branch Manager. Also, not every body would be in a position to get credit cards which would charge prime + 1.75% but may have credit cards which could charge them interest from 9.99 to 19.99% and store cards which could charge them up to 28% interest. You have yourself admitted that by maxing out the credit cards your credit score has come down and may go even further and you have been denied credit by some of the institutions you went to even though you are a financial wizard and make much more money then the bank officer refusing you credit. Moreover, you may not need a good credit score now as you already own a house but think of other desis who look for right advice here and may get confused by your intelligent pieces of advice and style of writing as most of the times I feel that I may be missing your exact point of view and hence avoid answering to your questions. I am sure most of other desis might also be feeling similarly. If you do not mind I would like to request you to please write in a language which is clear to understand by all so that there is no confusion as most of the times your advice could prove beneficial to CD members.

Well put Pramod, would you comply trans ?

Trans,
your post sounds interesting... (though it may be misleading to a lot of new desi's to CA) but alas...,
Your "lingo" is at the least irritating and confuses readers. If you have something constructive to put across on this forum take my advise...
Cut the funda and put it "simple english" or just use hindi if its the language you are comfortable with.
Looking forward to something more interesting from you.
Forgive me if I sound rude or curt. Its a style I picked up from YOU !
