we should talk :)

Its interesting how these trace elements like zinc, copper, chromium, boron, magnesium are important both for humans as well as plants:) :)

I used to have creatine once upon a time but sort of lost faith in it. Looking back I realise that it was probably the white rice/bread that was adding on the fat rather than creatine(whcih I blamed then).
I read someting a cpl of years ago which linked Creatine monohydrate to some form of cancer. Was that all rubbish or what. I'm considering getting back on it...but looking for more info.

I was smiling when reading your posts because only last week I was looking up capsule filling machines. I don’t have the manufacturing process for whey protein isolate but I think it uses only reverse osmosis to separate the whey proteins, concentration by ion exchange followed by spray drying of the slurry to get the fine powder. I wonder if Amul in India manufacture whey proteins because they produce so much milk products.

Because I use creatine I drink a lot of water because I think it helps in filtration in the kidneys. I haven’t encountered any side effects and I have been using it for close to 2 years but once in a while I reduce the amount to 3 grams.

Its good to know that the western world is realizing the benefits of turmeric, garlic and mint. I wonder if someone will come up with the idea of using tulsi leaves extract as a supplement.

You should look it up since the whey is usually a byproduct that is mostly discarded by the companies right?. I'm sure there will be a market for quality supplements in India. If not already...atleast soon.

Hi TK

Though you didnt ask, I thought i'd offer some unsolicited comments :D

If you practice making roti's long enough, it shouldnt take so long to make 10 rotis. Do you use a large rolling pin (the north american kind) or the small one?

I am saying this based on the assumption that I have that Indian (ie from India) guys are generally not taught to cook? Am i right? wrong?

You are right, in Indian household only the girls are taught to make round round parathas and aloo gobi.

The ladla beta is always fed at the table by his mom or sisters and he is not allowed to do the dishes either. It would break any Indian mom’s heart if her son has to come to Canada and cook his own food :). If you watch any old Indian movies the wife cooks for her husband and stands by his side when he is having his meal so she can fill his thali with whatever he likes. After dinner the wife brings a glass of warm milk to the bed and with downcast eyes lovingly watches her husband drink the milk and wipes his mouth with the pallu of her saree.

But in this age of Kaliyug, girls don’t want to cook any longer for their husband but instead feed him with ready to eat food on disposable plates and cups. Also after dinner wearing mini skirts they bring a glass of wine for their husband, look dreamily into his eyes and sips the wine with him. Also instead of wiping his mouth with the saree they brush his lips with theirs. Wonder what the world will come to in another 20 years :(

Its located at Hwy 10 and Dundas inside Newin center across India Town centre.
They have very cheap food in terms of monthly tiffin plans, their phone no. is 905 897 7767.
