Hello CD's ,
Recently i have been flooded with work at my office. I find myself leaving the office at 9:00 pm and there is no time to cook. I pass through islington/Albion and i normally get a2X $2.25 subji from rajdhani (They are Tax free for Subji), cook rice and eat it with the subji. I have been doing this for 2 weeks and i am sick of this restaurant. It is too oily for me to continue beyond 2 weeks.
Do CD's know any other cheap but tastey takeouts in this area? (Veg / non-veg).
A good option is Al-Ghani Biriyani at Dundas -hurontario for $2.50 with 2 or 3 pieces of chicken, Shami Khabab for $1.00 /Sheik Khabab for $0.50. But this is too far for me and i prefer Veg. He is Tax free.
Please share your options.

Sidenote : Toronto is a waste for cheap take outs or take outs when compared to Riyadh or Kuala Lumpur. In Riyadh, we have different kinds of cheap takeouts dime to a dozen just on one street. (the food is mostly ME/Asian/Persian). Who can forget the tastey khabsa for SR2.50 (biriyani rice for 4 people and 1/4 BBQ chicken).

JRF,
I did not like Khapsa when i was in Riyadh. our office gave free khapsa, when we work overtime , free of charge. I used to eat the chicken and throw away the rice. I always used to eat Broasted chicken , Costly Biriyani or other expensive takeouts in Saudi (ME, Pakistani, Labanese etc...).
But now in Toronto, Khapsa seems like a manna in the desert. Even some of the best foods of Toronto, canot beat the Khapsa. I long for "atleast" the Khapsa now.

A person had asked me where Al-Ghani biriyani shop is. I am also putting this publically for CD Cheap biriyani lovers in Mississauga.
***********
HI
Dundas - hurontario intersection in mississauga.
Go East on Dundas. After 200 m from the intersection, there will be a dollarama shop. the next complex after this dolarama shop houses the Al-Ghani shop. It is a meat and grocery shop with a small portion inside to dispense biriyani.
but note that the previous person who owned the biriyani shop inside has been fired. The owner himself is now serving biriyani. it seems that is now not that good and 50 cents extra and 1 piece of chicken less. but try it out and see.

I had asked about cheap take outs in this area but no one had replied. So i decided to take risk on my own. I went to a shop west on albion near this intersection and asked for chicken biriyani. It was $5 and the quantity was the same as you would get in Mississauga for $2.50. It was a waste. So people, donot go to this shop for Cheap biriyani.

Charlie,
What is Non-Veg or Veg. roti?
What is the price? I am very specific about the price. But your idea seems to be a healthy diet one, exactly as i am seeking. I shall go to that shop today and find his rates
