how to invest in indian stock market

I want to buy indian stocks. Can anyone please guide me how to do it while sitting here in toronto. Are there any brokers who can help me in doing so and what are their charges?

You can buyy and sell through verious online broker like SHAREKHAN.COM,INDIAINFOLINE.COM or do it through ICICI bank.

can u register with sharekhan if u are in canada ????

can u give some more details about doing it thru ICICI ???
