Delay after Medicals & CAIPS notes

Hi Friends ,

I need a advise on my case ..

I had given my interview at CHC New Delhi on 10th July under skilled worker category and after the interview the visa officer gave me the Medical papers .

I had got my Medical examination done on 2nd August 2006 and deposited my Right of permanent resident fee on 10th August 2006,I checked with my bank and they told me that bank draft of the fee was redeemed by the CHC on 26th August 2006.

After medicals I haven't heard anything from the CHC,Delhi ..

Could anyone suggest what could be the reason for this delay? as per my consultant it's a usual delay and their is no need to inquire about this with the CHC ...

Would it be right to get the CAIPS notes at this stage as it would also take some time to get the CAIPS notes ?

Please advise .....

You need to wait for atleast six months. There is no reason to get worried at this stage.

Your consultant is right.

I heard that the quota of 2006 is over in july itself. I hope you will get in Jan07

Thanks Taker ,This is what one of my friends had told me but still CHC could ask for my passport and then they can issue the visa next year ...

Otherwise also they take a lot of time in issuing the visa after receiving the passport ..
