I recieved all my papers as a sponsor including the Quebec selection certificate in the beginning of august. My wife was asked to present her passport on Sep. 13 and the lady at the embassy told my wife it would take more or less 1 month or more like 3 weeks. We still did not get any reply yet and I'm worried. It is going to be 6 months on dec. 17 that the Canadian embassy has our file. Should I contact them and find out what is going on or simply wait since normal processing times take within 6 months. Will they delay our process if I inquire about our file?

actually I have sent the fax 1 day after 6 months, on dec. 18 2003. And they have not replied to me. My wife is worried and so am I, I miss her and I think it's not fair that they make us wait so long. I guess they have no feelings for people in general. What do they care these (fonctionaires) they probably have some quota that says that they should only process a certain amount of files per month.
