Hello All Senior CD members,
I need one advice from you all regarding Immigration.
Background:
I have applied for immigration 2004 by using services of one the consultant from Delhi. I got married recently ,and now wish to add my wife's document to my file with Embassy (so that we both can come together whenever our application gets through). I approached the same consultant, but he is demanding huge money to add documents in my existing file with Embassy.
Query:
I want to know, can I go ahead and send documents along with Embassy fee directly to Canadian Embassy in New Delhi, or I have to follow through consultant only (and pay quite a big amount). Just a point to note that on my file the first contact address mentioned is Consultant address of Canada.
Please suggest/advice, i am confused whether to pay that conslt money which i feel is un-necessary as task is simple just to add document to Embassy (as i will remain the primary applicant). Will impact the case in any way or by any means can he influence Embassy decision in later stage if I by-pass him now for money he is asking.
Thanks

first of all use this form

and cancel the services of your so called agent if he is demanding money for adding your wife to current application. Notify visa post about the change in marital status and ask for instructions how to add spouse to your application.
In general you will have to submit updated application forms (second page of your IMM 0008 and your IMM 5406, your wife's Schedule 1 and her IMM 5406) plus all required documents (marriage certificate, wife's birth certificate, passport, education , police certificates, photos) and application fee of CAD 550.
