Hi there ppl afetr working for 6 yrs back home have considered applying for MBA prog in Canada (Finance).
Now the dilemma for me where i require help :
1) Which business school should i consider joining.
- Richard Ivey (Uni of Ontario) : good reputation but 1 yr prog?
- Rotman bus school (univ of Toronto) :
- Schulich Bus School (Univ of York) : better value for money but hows it considered locally in canada.. the brancd value?
Given tht its an imp decision all opinions / new perspective are welcome.
2) Would anyone knw if student visa can be a problem if ur immigration application is also pending?

You can first apply for student visa and arrive in Canada. You can then apply for immigration by sending your application to Buffalo.
I did the above and got my PR when I graduated.
I won't go to Ivey for finance. Rotman is better for finance. If you are an IT professional/technology, then you should try Queen's.
