Some of the programs are good.
A lot depends on the participants, esp. the parents - how active and involved they want to be.
Some classes where the parents don't participate actively tend to be boring.
The really popular programs tend of get full rather fast, sometimes within hrs. of registration opening.
They have lottery system for those.
You can tell by that whether the program are good or just time-pass.

yes...they are good, both for you as a parent & your child....but my experience...a lot depends on the area also where you attend the program, because that determines how serious parents are about the program...eg the one I attended at Earl bales park was very good but one at Finch mall was a waste of time most days.

I have been going for the past 2 months and they are pretty good in SOuth Etobicoke area. ALso good are some programs in libraries and the community centers. I just registered this month for the Mommy and Baby Aquafit classes in the Memorial pool... looking forward to it.

Another good resource is the toronto fun guide. You will get lots of information there.

Happy Spring :)
