What is the difference between York Univ and University of Toronto?

I am sure that both of these Univ are one of the most recognized in Canada.

Do these Universities offer different degree programs?

Both universities are excellent and bode well locally and nationally. But just as every business carves out a niche, these universities have their own niches.

UofT is well known for the medicine and other medical related fields like pharmacy etc. York for it Arts programs. Both have an excellent business program.

Although both are good in different subjects..
i would say UofT is more know in canada than york.
it also depends on which U of T one chooses

Depends on program ur studying

For eg UofT is better in engineering and york has only Comp engg..no mechanical, electrical etc. I m studying in UofT and can tell its better than york

though york has a gud MBA program at Schulich
