I am going to apply for Employment Insurance Online. But I will get my Record of Employment(ROE) from my employer only after 12 days from now.
So I want to know
-Can I apply now online and mail the ROE to HRDC, later, once I received?
or
-Do I have to wait until then,,get my ROE first, can only then I apply for EI online and mailing out ROE?,
Is it required to do both these works simultaneously?
Please suggest me.

You can apply online even if you have not received the ROE. Once the ROE is received then you can either mail it or deliver personally to your HRDC center.
Also, You should not wait for ROE for more than 2 weeks and apply immediately after 2 weeks as you are supposed to apply for EI within 30 days of your last working day whether you receive the ROE or not.
You will get this info on the website when you apply for EI online.

In cases where your employer files the ROE electronically, you do not need to submit a copy of HRDC (or whatever they're called now). Check the link provided my j3d it should have the details
