visitor visa for parents

Hello ,
Was wondering if anybody else is experiencing delay in visitor visa for canada.
Its been around eight weeks since my parents applied for visitor visa.
The cic website shows some sort of strike of processing officers, wanted to know the forums experience about this.

My feelings are that these officers in Canada and Overseas will do just a minimal work and get by. It might last till after the Parliament re-opens. Which will be after the labour day.

I know you said visitor visa, but wanted to clarify:
Have you applied for visitor visa or super visa ?

Hi
For Parents visior visa, do they have to send the file to VFS delhi by courier or they need to go personally to submit the file?

I am planning to call them in April? when should we start the process.

Its easier to get a Super Visa, the approval rate is much higher (85%) as opposed to Visitors to Canada (40%).

Hi , Can we apply " ONLINE" for parents visitor visa ? Any one have experience of it ? I browse on immigration website and found that we can apply online for parent's visa . I am in process to apply for my parents visitor's visa , please guide me if any one have applied it online ?
