Take into consideration what are all of the 'credits' that you have and the 'pluses' you will score. For this, you have to go and access the copy of your first application that you made with CIC when you obtained the work permit for TWO Years.
Now, you do have pre arranged work. When you complete one year at the work place, you have Canadian Experience and also know how well you are doing at the work place. The Employer also recognizes your work and you will be in a position to obtain a letter of recommendation from the Human Resources at work. Sound them and see if they would like you to continue there with them. If they state that in their letter it will carry more weight in your application, for a PR Card, from with in Canada.
When You have all of the ducks in a row, and you have an year under your belt, go to the nearest Canadian Immigrant Help Center and sit down with them and find a solution for your question, at that location. Have all of the documents on person when you visit them. See if you can get a PDF form filled in and carry it along with you. So, you do know that you are ready to apply if they say it is time to do so.
Hence my opinion is that you should wait for an year before you apply for your PR, that is commonsense. Also, you can extend your stay here if there are any hold ups or delays in the processing at Buffalo..., because it takes about 22 months currently to get an approval.
Look for form IMM 1249, application change conditions. Have it ready. Just in case...

Good Luck.
Hope this helps a little.
