Any rough idea what he charges ?
It would help to have some assistance to clean up our appliances, kitchen especially...

We paid Rs 15 / hour incl. all materials for an European lady in 2011. With the Canadian economy, I will guess that it is the same price now too.
We saw the advt. in Kijiji and the lady was very nice. Due to a miscommunication, she was waiting outside our condo for over an hour but did not charge for that.
There are just too many people outt here that the service will be good, irrespective of who you hire. If it is not good, you can warn others in Kijiji itself.

TK, How are you saying the Canadian economy is in recession like 2009. I don't see this in Vancouver. There is big boom here in Vancouver and easy to find a job, so I don't know what you are talking about sitting there in India.

I usually pay $20/hr - they bring the cleaning supplies (except tissue and vaccum). They come for a minimum of 3hrs - single visit.
Yet to find someone cheaper - even through Kijiji.
I found that the ones for $ 15 - 18 are not experienced which is a big deal
and if its thru a co., they keep changing cleaning lady on you so you have to explain everything over n over n over...

Would love to get some references for ladies who could help. We need someone to come over for 3-4 hrs every alternate week. Would want someone who does not need guidance after one or two visits and can be totally relied on both in terms of quality and honesty.
