Dear Mr. Masood,
I live/work in California for 6+ months and have applied for an FBI clearance a month back. I have received a request for passport from CHC New Delhi + photographs. Looks like this is final thing and i am supposed to be responding in 60 days and 13 days have already passed.
I am planning to courier my passport + photographs by FedEx from US to CHC New Delhi (This was advised by you). However i am still waiting for the FBI Clearance and although CHC has not asked for it (they dont know i am in US right now) and
1. hence i wanted to ask whether i should wait for the FBI Clearance right now or send whatever i have passport+photographs.
2. once i get the passport stamped back, is there a maxmimum time limit within which i should enter Canada for the first time. I am asking this because i have busy work schedule and hence wanted to know the maximum time frame until which i can wait before entering canada.
3. it would be great if you can tell me more about applying for the PR Card after landing in canada(whenever i go there).
4. Would a Green Card Application process in US be affected by the fact that i might be already holding a canadian PR. or on the other hand are there any advantages of holding a canadian PR from the perspective of entering US anytime later (like H1 extensions etc).
Thanks in advance.

1. send what they've asked
2. you will have one year from the date of the medical to enter Canada
3. you don't need to apply for PR card. it will be mailed to the address you provide upon landing
4. please ask a US Immigration lawyer.
