hi,we landed in canada in nov.2001.my husband is a radiologist and as he had prblems finding a job he returned to kuwait and is working in kuwait.he is 49 years old .he will not be completing 2 years out of 5 years for p r card.will he lose his immigration status.if i get my canadian citizenship can i call him to live permanently in canada.(2)my son is going to india to study medicine.he will get his p r card but will not be able to comlete 2 years to maintain immigration status.is there any special permit given to students who want to study outside canada to maintain his immigration stutus.
You can sponsor your husband to immigrate to Canada. I'm curious as to why he can't come back, apply for PR card, wait, collect it and return to Kuwait. Prbably less hassle.
As for your son, there's no special permit.
