Cic.gc.ca does not help much in this case.

When you apply for citizenship, they send a confirmation letter. The letter usually says a range within which you will get your citizenship.

Today it is taking about 11 months in Toronto.

In my case, it took three weeks to get the citizenship oath after the citizenship test.
For Passport, i applied at St. Catharines passport office personally and the passport was at my home by express mail on the 9th day !!

I applied for passport on APR 30. Any idea, how long it is taking to get the passport.

How CIC sends it ? By courier or Regd Post.?
What if suppose the person is not there at the address? What If person is on travelling? Do they handover to other person at home?


These days, do they call to references? Any suggestions?
