Today I found out that oaths are happening on almost daily basis. and it is taking not more than 2 months after test.

6-8 week was normal.

I hope this will help

Normally the written test is called after eight months of filing the application.

It generally takes 10-12 months for the completion of whole process. Depending on the rush at particular office, the time could be a little less or more. I am in Scarborough and I am told the Scarborough office at the Town Centre is the busiest in all Canada and takes the maximum time. We applied last year in late Feb, 2003. After 9 months in Nov 2003 we took the Citizenship Test. After Citizenship test it is generally 6-8 weeks time for the Oath Ceremony but because of the X-Mas & New Year's holidays they have not arranged any Oath ceremony. I have been checking the e-client status daily without any news. However, today they have updated the file stautus online and it says that they have sent us a letter asking us to take the Oath on 25th Feb 2004. The letter would reach in mail some time next week. So, it has taken one full year in our case for the whole process to complete.
