Can some one clarify what does this mean " on reliance network" ? :
Calls now made to India Revised Price (cents/minute) Reliance Network (93 mobile, landline & FWP numbers) 8.9
Other Networks 9.9(Canadian cents per minute, billing pulse 60 sec)

Reliance network means a line in India which is either a Reliance wireless or landline. Reliance mobile fone numbers in India start with 93
FWP = fixed wireless phone

...now starts the price war. Finally rates to India have started dropping. As off January 17, 2007, G3 telecom (www.g3telecom.com) has dropped their rate to India. With their Auto Pre-Paid plan, the rates are better than those offered by Reliance.
Auto Pre-Paid Plan
India Metro cities - 7.9c
India Others - 9.9c
Pre-Paid Plan
India Metro cities - 8.9c
India Others - 10.9c
They don't have access fee for either plans. The only difference being with a Auto plan, your account gets recharged whenever the account balance drops below $5. It's up to you to decide the the recharge amount. So basically they always have your 5 bux.
Note: Both Reliance & G3 charge tax on top of this rate
