Saddam Husseins personal cook was from Tamil Nadu. His name is Khaja Moideen.
It is stated in this article that Saddam loved the South Indian Rasam, Samosa and Biriyani.
He loved Indians and in particular he had great affection towards Indira Gandhi and called her his sister.
This cook had to leave during the Kuwait Invasion. He was flown in a special aircraft to Mumbai. Saddam specially gave him a lot of USD's.
