Where to get CAD cash/Draft/Travellers cheque at reasonable rates in India. According to travel agent "trade wings" CAD cash selling rate is INR36/-, Any suggestions please.

You can go to State Bank of India branch in major cities where you can get best selling rate. BTW, SBI is having a Branch in Toronto, so its easy to convert in Canada when you land. Good Luck

You can get good rates from authorised foreign exchange dealers compared to banks.If you are in Delhi,you could try aerojet.
Other option is to split your funds between CAD and USD as USD rates are favourable compared to CAD.

If you plan on bringing funds into Canada, suggest keep away from USD, reason being the CND to USD rate has been fluctuating a lot over the past year. About 18 months ago I got around 1.34, 2 months ago it dropped to 1.19. These days it's around 1.22/1.23

Try Thomas cook , I had found their deal better than any Nationalised banks, our banks were taking mimimum of 2 days , while Thomas cook gave it in just 1 day, you have to simply tell them by phone in advance your requirements( Total CADS required)
