What do you think should be rate for a lady coming to home, cooking meal...not on a regular basis, once or twice a week for couple of hours.......not a professional.

Secondly, what should be the rate for a lady coming to home to take care of kids for couple of hours, same thing once or twice a week / as need be basis ...not a professional.

1- For a Lady who comes to our Homes for cooking once a week ( Normally 4-5 Hours ), we pay CAD 9/Hour. She is a very good cook but not a professional cook. In fact, she asked for 9 $ /hour & we agreed without hesitation. As this lady comes from about 15 Kms, we give atleast 4 Hours work . ( She does not do know Driving & her husband do the Drop off/Pick up for her.)

2- For baby sitting, normal rate is around CAD 7/hour.
