hello cd memebers
i have an exciting job opportunity in nigeria and wanting to move
after my citizenship , now am currently on p.r status
now my question is that
1) if my spouse and kid are living in india
and i am working in nigeria ,will our income be taxed in
canada?? i am going to close all bank accounts and have no property here
2) i am planning to save some funds and return to canada in few years
will i have to show them my income and proof that i was out of the country
and have not used any facilities here.
3) if i dont take canadian citizenship and only my wife and son does , and they
settle in india and i work in nigeria , how can i come back to canada after few
years ,will i have to reapply for immigration or i can be accompanied along
with my wife and son ?
thanks for your replies .

--- No, you will not be taxed on your world income.

-- No, you will start your residency in Canada when you move back and would have to pay no taxes on old income.
