SSA everybody
I want to sponsor my parents from India (MOTHER AND FATHER). I am permanent resident in Canada and living with my spouse and 2 year child . I checked on cic website , there is almost $43,913 minimum income required. Am i right?.
Problem is my basic income is $36,000 annually , also i visited India 6 month ago for 5 month, It will reduce my income for this year. My wife does not work .
My question are
1. Can suggest any other idea to sponsor my parents?
2. Can u refer any trust-able agency or lawyer , who can adjust my income?
thx

You have to submit previous 12 months of family income for parental sponsorship. If you are that keen to sponsor your parents, then your wife should take up a job (not cash, because you have document income through payslips). When your combined income crosses the minimum threshold after 12 months, submit your paperwork. CIC will sit on your file for 3.5 to 4 years before approving your sponsorship. Since, your income is borderline, you will almost certainly have to resubmit your income proof at that time. So either your wife will have to continue working or you would need to get a job which brings you above 45K. Also, if you have more kids in the 3-4 years until they pick up your sponsorship, the income criteria will go up. Then your parents will have to submit all the paperwork to India and it will be minimum of 2-3 years for them to get their visa.
Instead, apply for a visitor's visa for them(which again may be difficult given your low income) and make sure that they leave the country within six months. The second time apply for a 5 year multiple entry visa, which will give you more options.
All the above is true, there is no way around this as you need to show income
In addition, don't ever trust anyone who will let you to believe that you can pay them money and they can give you pay stubs, plus paying tax which would show that you make over 43K
I tried this stunt 8 years ago when I was in Toronto, although we canceled the process as my folks didn't want to come and the whole thing was shady, I paid the "so-called" immigration consultant/tax lawyer/desi-community hangout office/marriage counselor- ( u know what I mean ) 7K and took me 8 months to get my money back where I had to go through 2 bounce checks and drive 1 hr from work every 2nd Saturday to get it back in sums of 200-300 dollars
I am sponsoring my folks with my proper income now but the irony is that the wait time is become so high that I am counting the days till they pass away so I can be with them for that little period.

freakoutguy gave a good suggestion.
However, it is not impossible to get the things done with your current situation. No one can adjust your income but you can. Msg me.
best
