Can someone please help me out? I am a Canadian citizen and want to bring in my mother and aunt on a visa to Canada.
I have heard that if you apply for immigration for your parents the process takes about 2 years however a visa can be issued immidiately.

I have heard that you can also apply permenant resident for your aunt or Uncle as well. Since i am applying for permenant resident for my mother my sister can apply for our aunt.

Questions is if we applied for their permenant residence would this allow us to get a visa for both my mother and aunt to come to Canada? Is their another way? Can this be done without applying for their permenant residency?

I would appreciate any answers. If this cant be done then i have to go back to Pakistan which i don't mind but i really have a great job and just don't want to leave.

Thanks for any answers in advance

a) You can sponsor your mother, but not your aunt and uncle. You are not even allowed to sponsor your brother/sister, if they are over 21 years and not full time students dependent on your parents.

b) The process of sponsoring parents is taking between 4-6 years, currently

c) Even if you apply for permanent residence (for your mom and not aunt), you can apply for a visitors visa which would allow them to stay for a maximum period of 6 months (with an extension of another 6 months possible) during one visit
