An adult healthy king cobra is said to grow 14 feet long. With its hood raised it stands 1.50 metre high and can comfortably strike anything at that distance. This man from Malaysia wanted to enter the Guinness Book of Records and so held an event to kiss the king cobra in its hood. He did about 37 times or so to make the world record.
Now it is not about the man but his instinct for adventure. No one in his or her sane mind would like to go within 100-metre radius of a king cobra with its hood raised. But this man not only went near the reptile and did the impossible to hold the world record. This selfsame instinct plus a dream that I can financially support a family member in her expensive medical treatment made me come into Canada again.
How did I fare? Was I able to survive? My lips are locked as of now.
